One of my New Year’s Resolutions was to simplify what I carry to my Idea Shows. In planning what to carry, these were my objectives:

· No more than 2 trips total (to make it easier on me and to make it look easy for prospects)
· Keep one load light-weight and non-breakable (so that when someone offers to help, they can with no risk)
· Include ALL items in both Show Cases (2 coordinated looks to Show, and makes it easy to show prospects what they’ll get)
· Have room for one or two more looks without adding trips (so I can bring things the Host wants to see)
· Support Organize-Colorize-Accessorize Show Structure, plus the Focus of the Month

I used the Artwork and Pottery Tote (from the Show Case), the Classic Cube, and the new Stitches Tote, Large (for folders and Show supplies). By packing efficiently, I was able to fit everything I needed to do a great Show (plus, I eliminated things I had been carrying that weren’t necessary). For my first trip I carry the Stitches Tote and the Cube; my second trip is the Pottery and Artwork Totes.

I held two Shows this weekend with my “new case” and was thrilled with the results! It was so easy to get in and out quickly, I had enough product to show off our beautiful line (but not too much!), and both Shows were over my Show Average!

Every Representative will do a slightly different Show and want to carry different items, but when you think through what you are carrying and why, and then figure out how to pack it efficiently, you’ll find that you can simplify your Show Case and have excellent Shows!
