Team Leader Julie Miller loves the Transformation Contest because it gives her Hosts and Guests the chance at even MORE free shopping. Julie has a system in place that works for her and her Hosts to regularly submit photos to the contest. We recently spoke with Julie about how she gets such a high number of entries into the contest and she shared her simple, duplicable steps with us that you can do too!
How do u work with your Host to talk about the contest and get her interested in submitting before and after photos?
“Every Host is gonna have pretty good size free and half price items so I know they’re going to be doing some transforming even if it’s a small area. I always mention it in my demo, and I tell them to take their ‘before’ pictures right after the Show. When we’re closing the Show on the phone the last thing I say is ‘remember to take your before pictures and when you get your after pictures taken, email me and I’ll make sure you get entered into the contest!’ They appreciate that.”
How do you get your Host to actually submit the photos?
“I take control. I have them send me their photos and I submit for them. It’s easier for them and it really only takes me a few seconds to email contest. It’s just another service I can offer and if they win its even better! I’d like ALL of my Hosts to enter because I love to see my people win!”
How do you remember to talk about the contest at your Shows?
“I use the Look Book, its super easy. I have two that I pass with the photos that the company provided. It’s $250 in free product, who wouldn’t want that?! I don’t have to fund that , the company does so I want to promote it as much as possible. I know with promotions and themes there is a lot to remember so if you have a look book in your hands it’s so easy!
I simply talk about it when I do organizing with the cube and the baskets. Everyone has that drawer they don’t want anyone to look at. I have fun with it and tell them the messier it is, the better! They love that because they can relate!”
